1. Visit http://wordpress.com.
2. Fill in the Username and Password fields; then, select “Login.”
3. Select “New Post” at the top of your screen.
4. Add a title for your blog post and begin writing. Don’t forget to spell check before your publish.
Optional: Adding an image to your blog post
1. If you would like to upload a picture to your posting, select the image icon as shown below.
2a. Click on “Select Files” to browse your computer for the image you would like to upload.* Once you
have selected the image, click on “upload.”
*If this option does not work, select “Browser Uploader,” which will provide you with another option for
uploading images.

2b. If you selected “Browser uploader,” you will need to select “Browse” as indicated below. Next, you
will need to select the image file that you wish to upload. Once you have the file selected, click “upload.”
3. Give your image a title in the field indicated below. You may also wish to add a caption to the photo
(optional).
4. Next, select the alignment of the photo. If you choose “none,” the image will be set out from the text;
however if you choose “left,” “center,” or “right,” your text will be wrapped around the image
accordingly. You will also need to select the image size. We recommend “medium.” Finally, once your
selections have been made, select “Insert into Post.”
